It’s so much fun when Jeff and I get to work with friends. After months of talking together and getting to know one another, it’s the truth to say that nearly all of our clients become our friends. But when we get to work with people who know our hearts as individuals and who have had previous life experiences with us, it is simply beautiful. We desire that our photography be a blessing to those we encounter and that the entire photography experience be relaxed, professional, and seamless. Chris’s mother, Betsy, has been a part of my life for several years. She was a mentor and teacher to one of our four children and I’ll always remember and appreciate how she encouraged and believed in him. When Betsy approached us about photographing Lynette and Chris’s wedding, we were honored!
Lynette and Chris were married two weeks ago at Rounton Farm. It was an incredibly beautiful spring day in the mountains of Virginia. Everyone was relaxed and happy. Chris and Lynette were both emotional as they read the letters that each had written the other. They choose not to do a first look, and Chris was outwardly emotional as he saw his bride approach him as she walked down the isle with her father. It was beautiful. There were lots of beautiful DIY details and Lynette’s aunt did the floral design. Janet Worrell was the cake artist and the wedding coordinator and did a great job helping everything run smoothly. The evening was intimate and unifying as the bride and groom’s families sat together to share their meal, while family and guests alike enjoyed a family-style dinner. Lynette’s family loves dessert, so they made sure to include a dessert table in addition to the wedding cake. Lots of fun dancing and toasts rounded out a perfect day.
We are so happy to know you guys and are confident that your lives together are going to be richly blessed! Thanks for entrusting us to help make your visual memories a reality and inheritance for generations to come. -jane
